FAQ

These are some of my most frequently asked questions (FAQ) so I thought I would put them all in one place for any of you who might want to know something. 

How old are you? 

  • I’m 28 years old

Where are you from/do you live?

  • I was born and raised in Hawai’i and I still live there on the island of Oahu in Honolulu.

Have you ever left Hawai’i?

  • Yes, I’m very fortunate to have traveled quite a bit. I’ve been to the west coast a lot: California and Washington State.  
  • Other places I’ve visited in the United States: New York City (NY) , Baltimore (MD), Philadelphia (PA), Saint Louis (MO), Tampa (FL), and New Orleans (LA).
  • Cities outside of the US I’ve visited:  Paris (France), Stockholm, Germany, Switzerland, Nice (France), Monte Carlo, Monaco, Rome (Italy).  

What are your talents? 

  • I’m fairly gifted at music.  I can play most woodwind instruments and brass.  I sing well and was a music major in college. 
  • I can do some voices, Gollum from LOTR is one of my best, and a chipmunk voice ;)

What is it like living in Hawai’i?

  • I’m very blessed to live in Hawai’i.  It’s a beautiful place with endless sights to see and very little pollution. Honestly, sometimes it gets a little boring or stifling because I felt like I’ve seen everything…

What races are you? 

  • I’m mixed with lots of different things.  My father is Hawaiian, Portuguese, Korean and Chinese.  My mother is French, Irish and Native American (Oglala Lakota).  

And probably the most asked question I get….

What theme do you use?

  • I use the redux tumblr theme that I customized a lot. 

Where do you get your images? 

  • Some are my own.  If they are, I say so and they’re in my flickr account in my sidebar.  Others I find on google, bing, weheartit.com and flickr. 

I love your playlist, what are the songs and how do you get it on your page? 

  • Firstly, I go to mixpod.com to get my music and playlist.  It’s free and easy to do.  You choose a player and your songs and save.  You take the embed code you get at the end and copy and paste it in your Customization: Info section on your tumblr. If you want it to be hidden like mine, you have to change the sizes of the player after you embed it.  There are 2 places in the code where there are numbers for “height” and “width”, change all of them to 1. 
  • Here are the songs on my playlist.  They are on shuffle so you’ll never hear them in the same order as I’m listing them.
